You will be picked by our guide at the airport on arrival or at your Hotel/lodge early in the morning and begin on the journey to the south west of Uganda where the Gorillas live in Bwindi. There will be stopovers at the equator for pictures and another at Igongo cultural center for lunch as you proceed to Bwindi. The beautiful landscape of this part of Uganda will amaze you as you watch the rolling hills of Kigezi. You will later arrive at Bwindi Impenetrable forest in the evening and check in at the lodge for relaxation.

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking

After breakfast on this day, you will drive to the park offices where you will meet other guests and be divided into groups of 8 and be guided on the dos and don’ts of Gorilla tracking. You will then be led into the forest with guides and start on the search for habituated Gorillas. This exercise normally takes between 30 minutes to half a day depending on the movement of the Gorillas and the fitness of the people tracking. After meeting the gorillas, you will be given a whole hour with the Gorillas taking picture and learning more about them. Return to meet the guide and drive to the Hotel for rest. If time allows, you will have a visit to the local community and have a feel of the African lifestyle.

After a tasty breakfast, you will start on the journey transferring to Kibale national park the primate capital of East Africa. The journey takes 5-7 hours with stopovers as you enjoy the beautiful views of this western side through tea plantations. This park is home to over 13 primate species and several bird species which will be seen during your visit. Arrive in the evening hours and check in at the lodge. Dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking

You will also see a few other primates during this tracking especially as you walk through the forest searching for the habituated chimps. A whole hour is allowed in the presence of the chimpanzees as you understand the behavior of the Chimps in their natural state.
